SUBJECT: Zoning Line of Sight Provisions
The committee reviewed a videotape showing various conditions and
intersections in the Village. This tape was prepared by the Building
Department to demonstrate the ordinance requirements as it applies to
different streets, arterial and residential , various parkway widths ,
various stopping spots at stop sign, beyond stop sign.
Written material that contained research of other communities' require-
ments or no requirements and additional details with photographs making
comparisons when line of sight is measured at the lot line as required
or when measured at curb line, was presented.
The committee agreed to further review the information they received
and continue the discussion at a later date before making a final
recommendation to the Board.
