Hauser MEMBERS ABSENT only STAFF PRESENT Gary Parrin Assistant Village Manager Julie Strahl , Administrative Assistant Alan Boffice, Village Engineer Members reviewed a memo drafted by Chairman Gallitano which reviews the topics to be discussed at the 7-19-89 Joint Meeting with the Plan Commission. Parkin2 Re uirements Mem ers reviewed the pending text amendment before the Plan Commission regarding the revision of parking regulations for convenience shopping centers, as well as the Plan Commission's suggestion to establish a sub-committee to review special location and shared parking plans. Official Ma /Com rehensive Plan t was note tat t e5fficial Map should be updated and that the Comprehensive Plan should be reviewed to determine where the Official Map is referenced in the Comprehensive Plan. Staff was directed to have a copy of the Comprehensive Plan available at the joint meeting. ZoninPerformance Standards em ersdirected the Ullage Attorney to contact Mary Salzenstein to determine whether the Text Amendment will need to be updated before it is adopted. JPZ Committee Minl s 2 June 22, 1989 �Lawn Sp�rayyingg noted that before the Village looks further into regulating lawn spraying firms, staff should review the outcome of the proposed regulations before the State General Assembly. Smokin Ordinance onsensus was to review the outcome from the State Legislature regarding smoking regulations. Housiinng_ Re�ntal Ordinance Me adiscussed the Village President's suggestion of a routine inspection process for homes that are rented. Members directed staff to prepare a list of rental homes (single family-residential ) as well as who owns them. Commercial Pro ert Debris and Litter em ers irecte sta to contact the Village Attorney to see whether the proposed ordinance has been prepared. It was noted that Jupiter Realty has been more cooperative in picking up litter around Elk Crossing Shopping Center. Ethics Members discussed the need to spell out the "do's and don'ts" of ethical behavior for public officials. Re�clling Wembers briefly discussed the status of all multi-family recycling and the issue of yard waste and composting.
