PUBLIC PASSENGER VEHICLES
The following issues were discussed and revised:
- Non-licensed vehicles can only accept passengers for
transportation when such transportation has been arranged
in advance ( 18 . 4205M)
- Add a section to 18 .4205 to make it unlawful for any
taxicab to convey toxic, hazardous or biological waste.
- Add fees to 18 .4209 as follows :
Dispatcher license: $500 . 00
Taxicab license: $ 50 . 00
Livery license: $ 50 . 00
Chauffeur' s permit: $ 10 . 00
- Eliminate reciprocal license/administrative fee
In addition, Staff was directed to send a copy of the
proposed Public Passenger Vehicle regulations to current
holders of taxicab and livery licenses . The license holders
will be asked to attend a JPZ meeting to discuss the proposed
regulations .
