1550 GREENLEAF PARKING
Sergeant Kirkpatrick noted that the Police Department
utilized a temporary "No Parking" sign 629 feet west of
Busse. The temporary signage resolved the truck parking
concern while meeting the needs of the business to allow
some on-street customer parking.
The consensus of the Committee was to recommend the
adoption of an ordinance extending the No Parking zone
from 305 feet to 629 feet west of Busse, at the October 8
Village Board meeting.
TOBACCO USE BY MINORS
The JPZ Committee will be scheduling a joint meeting
with the Board of Health to discuss the use and
possession of tobacco by minors.
In preparation for that meeting, the Committee is
seeking additional information, including: 1) The Model
(Westmont) Ordinance and neighboring communities '
ordinance on the subject; 2) Police Department data on
Elk Grove businesses selling tobacco products to minors;
and, 3) Police Department data on minors possessing
tobacco products in Elk Grove.
ANTENNA SITING POLICY
The JPZ Committee reviewed the draft plan. The
consensus of the Committee was as follows:
-- To recommend a 7 year Plan Commission
review rather than a 10 year Plan
Commission review; and,
-- To recommend that the draft policy be
forwarded to the Plan Commission for
their input prior to adoption by the
Village Board.
The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
