('T,OUCP.qTER DRIVE PARKING
A recommendation was made by the Police Department that
parking restrictions be placed on the south side of Gloucester
Drive. It was explained by Sgt. Zinnel that representatives of
the Parcel C Homeowners Association had requested "NO PARKING" on
the north side of the street. However, upon review of the above,
the Police Department's recommendation was that the south side be
restricted in order to keep hydrant access clear should a fire
emergency arise.
Concern was expressed by residents that additional parking
on the north side of Gloucester Drive would create a line-of-
sight problem. It was suggested that the areas near the ingress
and egress points into Gloucester could be striped and the curbs
painted to eliminate possible hazards. Upon further discussion,
it was the consensus of the JPZ Committee to recommend that
parking on the south side of Gloucester Drive be prohibited
Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Additionally, the JPZ members requested that the Police
Department review the parking and traffic concerns on Gloucester
and Beisner that were expressed by the citizens that were
present.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 PM.
