Trick or Treat Days
I
The Police Department reported the receipt of three (3) of the surveys inquiring whether
Halloween trick or treating should be changed to Sunday of the Halloween week rather
than on Halloween day. All of the responses indicated their preference not to change. It
was the consensus of the Committee to allow additional time for submission of the other
survey questionnaires.
Taxicab Regulations
It was the consensus of the Committee to have the Village Attorney review the Taxicab
Ordinance and interview current prospective cab company owners in preparation for a
Fact Finding proceeding before the JPZ Committee. The exact date for the proceeding
will be set at the April 14, 1998 meeting of the Village Board.
Massage Parlors
Chairman Lissner brought up a new mater concerning regulations of Massage Parlors and
referred to a memorandum from the Village Attorney which attached an existing
Ordinance in the Village of Hanover Park. The Village Attorney briefly covered some of
the problematic areas contained in the Ordinance and a discussion concerning those
matters followed. Additional information will be directed to the members of the
Committee for their review. Thereafter, an additional meeting will be set.
The meeting concluded at 9:05 p.m.
