Massage Ordinance
The Committee reviewed the second amended draft Ordinance prepared by the Village
Attorney. There were some additions and amendments discussed by the Committee
Members. Once again, Mr. Len Pinkowski, a Massage Therapist, offered his comments
on the second amended draft. The Committee requested the Village Attorney to prepare
a final draft for their review and comment and, if satisfactory, to submit the final draft to
the entire Board.
Food Vending Vehicle Ordinance
The Village Attorney explained to the Committee the origin of the drafting of this
Ordinance which involved enforcement problems faced by the Health Department with
respect to Food Vending Vehicles in the Industrial Park. It appears that the vehicles are
selling non-labeled food and also storing food in vehicles not properly refrigerated, in
violation of State of Illinois Codes and local Village Regulations. The Committee
discussed the draft Ordinance and instructed the Village Attorney to forward a copy of
the Ordinance to the entire Board for adoption at a later date.
The meeting adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
