A meeting of the Firemen's pension fund was held on Monday,
February 7 , 1994 in the Fire Dept. Administrative Offices,
901 Brantwood Ave. The meeting was called to order by
Vice-President Jerry Norris at 7 :09 P.M.
ROLL CALL
On Roll Call the following members were present; Patricia S.
Smith, Hilda H. Ingebrigtsen, James D. MacArthur, Joseph
Gardner III , Jerry Norris , Patrick L. Beck. Absent were;
Harvey R. Speiden, Dennis J. Gallitano, George P.
Knickerbocker . Mr. Richard J. Puchalski , Attorney at Law,
Pension Fund Legal Counsel was present.
MINUTES
Motion by Joseph Gardner III seconded by Patricia S. Smith
to accept the minutes of November 1 , 1993 as written and
dispense with their reading. Motion passed unanimously.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Treasurer H. Ingebrigtsen submitted a Balance Sheet,Schedule
of Investments, and a Disbursement Register of the Firemen's
Pension Fund as of December 31 , 1993 . She reviewed all
three with the Board Members and explained their contents.
Motion by Patrick L. Beck, seconded by James D. MacArthur to
certify disbursement of funds to refund Martin Diaz 's
contributions to the Pension Fund in the amount of
$13 , 943 . 38 and to accept the Treasurer's Report, certify the
Disbursement Register and place it, the Schedule of
Investments, and Balance Sheet on file with the Minutes.
Motion passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
A brief report was given by those who attended the November
Pension Seminar.
A discussion followed regarding Ron Ternberg's application
for disability benefits. The Board discussed what had
transpired since the November meeting it was mutually agreed
that the Board would not take any actions on the application
until the Board received the proper documentation from Ron
Ternberg. Mr. Puchalski has sent Ron a letter stating what
documentation was needed before the Board could proceed.

NEW BUSINESS
The Board has received an application for membership from
William A. Knipp. A motion was made by Joseph Gardner III,
seconded by Patricia Smith to authorize Mr. Puchalski to
contact William Knipp to arrange for a doctors appointment
for a medical exam. Motion passed unanimously.
A discussion followed regarding the nature and extent of
medical exams the Board would like to have performed. It was
mutually decided that Board Members would forward a list of
tests and/or exams given to new applicants to Secretary Beck
and he would forward the check list to Mr. Puchalski .
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Patrick L. Beck, seconded by James D. MacArthur to
adjourn. Motion passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at
7 : 55 P.M.
