ELK GROVE FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND
MAY 3, 1998
CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the Fireman's Pension Fund was held on May 3, 1999 in the Fire Dept.
Administrative Offices, 901 Brantwood Ave. Elk Grove, IL. The meeting was called to
order by President Rich Dugan at 8:12 p.m..
ROLL CALL
On roll call, the following members were present; Richard Dugan, Hilda Ingebrigtsen,
Richard Krieger, and Brian McVeigh. In addition, newly elected trustee Mark
Percudani., was present.
Absent were; Jerry Norris, Craig Johnson, Patricia Smith, George Knickerbocker, and
Rich Puchlski, Attorney at Law, Pension Fund Legal Counsel.
MINUTES
A motion was made by Rick Krieger to accept the minutes of March 22, 1999. Brian
McVeigh seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
TREASURE'S REPORT
Treasurer Hilda Ingebrigtsen submitted a Balance Sheet, A Disbursement Register, and a
Schedule of Investments as of March, 1999. She reviewed all three with the board
members and explained their content. Rick Krieger motioned to accept the treasurer's
report, Brain McVeigh seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
It was determined that the Illinois Department of Insurance must accept our check as
payment for compliance fees. The fee was $75.00 per year but has been changed to a
percentage with a maximum. Hilda stated that she was not sure what the percentage was
or what the maximum was at the time of her report. Our current payment is for the past
two years.
NEW BUSINESS
An application for retirement pension was received from Thomas C. Wisniewski. Rich
Dugan stated that all of his paper work was in order and we needed a formal vote to grant
his pension. A motion was made by Jim MacArthur and seconded by Brian McVeigh to
grant this pension. The motion passed unanimously.
Monica Green has filled an application for a refund. Rich stated that her paper work was
in order and that a motion was required to grant the refund. Rick Krieger made a motion
to grant Monica Green a refund. Hilda ingebrigtsen seconded the motion and it passed
unanimously.
A motion was made by Brian McVeigh to certify the election held on April 19,1999 of
Jerry Norris and Mark Percudani to a three year terms. Jim MacArthur seconded the
motion and it passed unanimously.
Election of officers was held for the next year. Richard Dugan was elected President.
Jerry Norris was elected Vice-President and Mark Percudani was elected Secretary.
ADJOURNMENT
Mark Percudani made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Brian McVeigh seconded the
motion and the motion passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.. The
next meeting will be held August 9, 1999 at 7:00 p.m..
