Meeting started: 19:10 hrs.

In attendance: Fordon, Haverland, Jamrozek, Keenan,MacArthur,
D.Miller,Peterson, Quinlan,-Reid, Rogers, and Sharp
Absent:-Ingebretson, McManus, Nejedlo
OLD BUSINESS:
Grills: Ordered on the tenth. One large unit for station 7 and 3 upgraded
versions of the current Weber grills for the remaining 3 stations.
TV's: Motion was passed to increase the audio-visual budget from $1,200.00
to $2,000.00.
Election results: First shift representative. M. Sharp
Second shift representative.J. Fordon
Third shift representatives: K Cotte,M. Skowroaski
Administrative representative: D.Miller
Computers: Rogers still researching upgradetreplacement
Physical Fitness: Rogers to discuss with Nejedlo
Tuition reimbursement: Application for reimbursement has been submitted
by various members of the departmeat. Board unanimously approved
increasing the budget to$70,000.00. Jamrozek and Quinlan chosen to
replace Keenan and McManus on Education Subcommittee,
Calendars: Dave Miller has approximately SW remaining calendars.
Elections: As noted at last meeting,future dectious will be held no later than
November 7m.
Helmets: Helmets have been received by Daft,waiting for shields to be
attached. Should be distributed before xmas.
Barbells.Confined Space Camera.Heart monitors.Heater for Hsz-Mat
trailer. Station Audio-Systems and updated Mr pai have all been written up
for budget consideration.
CERT Training: Peterson is still doing research regarding Weapons of Mass f
Destruction Class and possibility of hosting class for member fire
departments.
Textbook reimbursement : Board wants to focus on tuition reimbursement
before expanding program to possibly include textbooks.
NEW BUSINESS
Officer appointments: Rogers, Chairman
Fordon, Vice-Chairman
Reid, Secretary
Photo Board: D/C Goostree has requested$2,500.00 from the FFI Board to
Update the personnel photo board. The Board approved,with one vote
Opposing,to increase the amount to $3,500.00. The Board would also like to
see the quality/resolution of the photos improved Peterson to work on the
proposal.
FDIC Budget: The Board approved$1,000.00 in the budget for FFI Board
members to attend the FDIC Convention. Funds are not to be used for hotel
or mileage.
Phil Haverland inquired as to the disposition of funds collected by the FFI
tax prior to 1991. Chief MacArthur states that monies collected were
Allocated to the General Fund
