-Meeting called to order at 1912 hrs by, Chairman Fordon
-(Last month's) meeting minutes were amended and approved
Chairman's Report:
-Nothing to report
OLD BUSINESS
- No Tuition Reimbursement for non-fire related classes, per Village Manager.
- TV Stands: Request for TV stands for station 9 & 10 denied by Partin, suggested the FFIB purchase
them. The board discussed using the funds allocated for retirement plaques to purchases them.
- Internet Service: Chief to meet with Village Manager for final draft. As of now it looks good with the
only hold up being the issue of access to personal email(yahoo, hotmail, AOL).
- Maps: Sharp states maps are in the process of being finished, should be delivered next meeting
- Fax Machines for station 8: no response from the Chief, D/C Miller will check with him.
- New Budget Items: did not act upon submitted items, will be discussed as new business.
NEW BUSINESS
- New Budget items: per the criteria we examined additional submitted items for the budget from the
shifts. Did not vote on final inclusion into the budget.
-Ballots For upcoming elections—Sharp states he has the sign up sheets for being put on the ballot
ready to post. Even though several members term expire in October, the board agreed we needed to wait
for the shift change notice before posting.
