Derma, S Miller, Beck, Ryan, L Harris Approval of minutes— motion by Goostree, minutes approved Correspondence/Members to be heard - Tom Reinhardt presented information about a machine that automatically refills drychem powder into extinguishers without the usual mess. Tom was advised to resubmit this request starting July or August when we discuss next years budget. - Pat Beck requested the FFIB look into refunding money from the old house fund. Beck stated that since the FFIB now pays for TV's and newspapers this money should be refunded to the members who paid into the house fund for those purposes. —Motion by McVeigh to assign Kelly to investigate this issues and those who paid, those who didn't and how much. How it would be done, and the desires of Fire department members who paid into it. Chairman's Report: - Hall stated that he was asked by the Chief to attend the Village board budget meeting on behalf of the FFIB. Hall stated that he declined citing that he felt the Chief, as a member of the board could adequately represent the board. He felt no budget items would be approved above and beyond what was approved by the Chief. Vice Chairman's Report: -Nothing to report (TV stands will be discussed during committee reports) .S'ecretary,1Treasurer Report: - No change this month: $626,507 minus $49,000 taken out for 2003 budget year expense leaving $577,507 non-allocated. House Fund total $1307.37 Committee Reports -Education Committee: Initial Application for tuition reimbursement forms submitted by Andy Laird, $825.00 and John Guglielmo, $450.00. Disbursements out of Tuition Reimbursement account for 2004: $0 OLD BUSINESS - Budget approval—Chief Goostree advised the board that chairman Hall spoke to him about taking items out of the approved FFIB budget. Chief stated that in the future he would go through the board to remove items that as chief he feels should be removed. Motion made by Sharp to approve budget. Budget for 2004-2005 approved unanimously. NEW BUSINESS -None Announcements—None Meeting adjourned at 1937
