Miller, Haverland, Rogers, Bonilla ABSENT: Christine Tromp, Lamka, Skowronski, Hall, Kelly, McVeigh Quorum present?Yes Sit in: Santeler, Tosto, McEnery Approval of minutes—minutes approved with corrections Correspondence/Members to be heard - None Chairman's Report: - Nothing to report Vice Chairman's Report: - Nothing to report Secretary/Treasurer Report: - Per Chief Goostree Foreign Fire's 2003-2004 budget amount of$49,000 for expenditures was increased by $18,000 by the Village Manager. This is to cover the Lifpak upgrades ($9,500) and Stair Chairs ($8,500) for a total budget of$67,000 - House Fund total $0—Now dissolved after Charitable donation to the Penkava family Committee Reports - Education Committee: Nothing to report - Total disbursements out of Tuition Reimbursement account for 2004: $1275.00 OLD BUSINESS - Status of items approved in the 2004 Budget: Mic Clips- purchased and distributed `Fire Calculator'- purchased, Rogers will create holders for them Station 8 TV—purchased, but twice returned for problems RIT Pack—In the hands of D/C Miller for purchase Upgrade software for FFIB computers— Station 9 & 10 completed so far Ice Makers sta. 9 &10—Accepted the lowest of 3 bids, PO to be created by Lynn Cox Station 7 Cascade System for 02 refill— Has been installed PDA Bar Code scanners—Found a cheaper vendor, working on getting a invoice for purchase Thermal Imaging Camera—Capt. Stecki finished research, will purchase the Camera Weight Scales—Waiting for a check or PO to purchase them Village Map for Administration building—Maps ready, Company/person installing Map cases has been off sick. NEW BUSINESS R E C E I V E C, — Time for submittal of new budget items-No items discussed OCT 2 2 2004 ?II iAiE CLERK'S OFFICE Announcements— Sharp commented that he has been asked about the possibility of conducting the FFIB meetings using Video Conferencing. The board agreed that it might be something we could do. Chief Goostree asked secretary Sharp to check with the Village clerk on the rules and legality to hold meetings using Video Conferencing.
