AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6-4-5-1(C)OF THE VILLAGE CODE AS IT
PERTAINS TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN DESIGNATED STREETS WITHIN
THE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, Section 6-4-5-1(C)of the Village Code"Prohibited Parking"currently prohibits
any vehicle to stand or be parked on certain designated streets, one of said streets being Randall Street;
and
WHEREAS,the Mayor and Board of Trustees,upon a review of staff recommendation, find and
believe that removing Randall Street from the Prohibited Parking Section and allowing parking on
Randall Street will benefit the commercial and industrial businesses adjacent to Randall Street.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage as follows:
Section 1: That Section 6-4-5-1(C)of the Village Code be amended by removing"Randall"
from the last paragraph of said section.
Section 2: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1
