Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on October 14, 2014, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Committee was informed that the current Village policy only allows fire and police deputies
to take home their assigned work vehicles if they live in the Village. These vehicles are not in use
when they are left in the Village garage. The result of this policy is that in the event of an
emergency, deputies must first go to Village Hall to pick up their vehicle with the necessary gear
before responding to the scene. The consensus of the Committee was to allow police and fire
deputies living outside the Village to take home their work vehicles as long as the vehicle is
garage-kept and used for work only.
