Village of Elk Grove Village

The regular meeting of the Elk Grove Village Board of Health was called to order at 7:10 p.m. in Meeting
Room C, lower level of the Village Hall.

1. Dr. John Kelly chaired the meeting in the absence of James Christie, Chairman.
2. Richard Penley moved that the November 19, 1997 minutes be approved. Lois Colaprete
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
3. The Personnel Committee
The Personnel Committee did not set a date for a January meeting with the Board of Health.
The Personnel Committee and Board of Health will meet sometime in February to discuss an
employee wellness program.
4. Coordinator's Report
Michael Cavallini, present Village Sanitarian was appointed to the position of Health
Coordinator in December. He will officially assume the position on February 2, 1998. The
present Health Coordinator, Nancy Yiannias was offered congratulations by the Board of
Health members on her retirement on January 30, 1998.
