C. Preparation o6 Trees :
1. In preparing tAees bo& moving and tnanzpont, atl

E. Inspection:

trees.
F. Ptanfii.ng Mix:
Shalt be paepo ed .in accordance with accepted practice o6 .the
Amexican Nwrsehyman's Association. Planting so.i.l shall be
good quality loam topsoil, mixed with a 6-24-24 6ertitizer at
.the nate o6 10 pounds pelr cubic yard ob topsoit.
G. Planting Methods:
1. AU planting shall be done during .the propene seasons. No
planting shall be done .in brow zo.it or during un6avonable
weather conditions.
2. Tree pits shall be dug o6 such size as to provide ample
space 6or the entiAe root system, as .the .thee comes Brom
the nursery, without enowding or bending the hoots. The
pits sha.tt be 12 .inches widen than the ball diameteA,
shall have veAticat sides, and be 6 inehe6 deeper. than the

ptanting opehntions but in such a manneA as to retain

one-thiAd o6 the branch stAuetuAe shaft be removed. Att
pruning shatt be done by expeht workmen in such a manneA

Wkapping shalt be tied with cotton twine to keep the
wrapping in place.

and staked with two 2" x 3" wood stakes, 8 boot tong,
pointed on one end - the stake shaft be o6 sound and
durable oak oa eedaA. The stakes must be tong enough
to pxopehty support the tAee; this inceudes driving the
stakes to a depth o6 18 inches below the bottom o6 the
tree pit. The stakes shall be toeated one on the north
side and one on .the south side o6 the ti ee, and 12 inches
to 18 inches 6nom the trunk. Stakes shall not be dkiven
into the batt and buAPap. The trees shah be guyed using
a 6iguAe 8 hitch consisting o6 No. 14 gauge wipe encased
in a section o6 xubbeA hose. See Exhibit A. attached.
