The meeting commenced at 7:30 p.m. in the Trustee's Conbenence Room

1 ) Proposed revised Tree Ordinance.
Those que6tions which .the Committee wanted answeAed at .the
last meeting were di-6cussed and bound to be acceptable.
Trustee Tosto .indicated that as the Committee was satis6ied
with the nev.i�s.ions, he would 6eek,at the next BoaAd Meeting,
to have the Village Attorney prepaAe an ordinance bon
adoption by .the Board.
2) Parkway Tree6.
Mn. Kateta and Mr. AndAew6 began by di.6eubs.ing .the need
bor .ineAea6.ing the monies budgeted to the Land and Forestry

The Pubtie Woks Depcurtment, as adm%niat&ato& ob .the

to have all new sidewalks constructed in the Industn,iat

section6.
4) Request to Enctose Pubti,aly Maintained Ditches.
The Harris Equipment Co. (1450 Lunt Avenue) and LeHigh
EtectAonic Color, Inc. (351 Bonnie Lane) have &equested peL-
mission S&om the ViUage to enclose pubticly maintained
ditches. Harris Equipment would ,ike to insta t a watkway
between buitdings they own on eithelL side o6 the ditch.
LeHigh Eee¢tAonic Cato& would tike to use the ditch night-
o6-way 40& additional paAhi.ng.

The Committee wit2 recommend to the V,iUage Board at the
next V.iUage SoaAd meeting that Sta66 be diheeted to puue
the opening o6 Biester6.iet'd Road Arom Roh2wing Road to
Meacham Road as outtined .in the V.iUage Eng.ineec's memo o6
August 7, 1980 to the V.iUage Manages. The Committee mem-
bers eoncu&ked with the reasoning stated .in the memo box
opening the roadway.
