The meeting was called to order in the Elk Grove Village Municipal
Building by Trustee Tosto at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 1982. The
purpose of the meeting was to establish policy guidelines for this pro-
ject, and to recommend an expenditure of funds for the purpose of pro-
ceeding toward the Public Hearing.
Trustee Tosto indicated that approximately $5,000 is needed to
hire consultants to do the following:
1) Obtain a surveyor to do a legal description
of the districts boundary, and
2) Hire a financial consultant to put together
the package to finance the project.
The Board was in agreement with this expenditure and, as such, it will
be brought before the Board at the next Board Meeting for action.
In addition, the Committee received the Board's concurrence in
adopting Alternate #6 with a two year protection level as the recommended
plan. This alternate provided for most of the existing ditches to be
replaced with various sizes of sewer pipe, placement of new sewers and
construction of an enlarged detention pond.

To show the Village 's commitment to this project, the Board
agreed with the Committee 's recommendation to finance those portions
of the project within Village rights-of-way. Also, the Village would
provide storm sewer on Nicholas Boulevard in conformance with the
reconstruction plans prepared by Warren and VanPraag. This commit-
ment amounts to approximately 20% of the estimated cost for Alternate
#6.
The meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Ray L. Oeterson, Village Engineer
