January 18, 1993 Meeting

Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. .
1993 Street Maintenance Program
Mr. Cech highlighted the proposed 1993 Street Maintenance Program. 12.02 miles and 195,115
square yards of pavement is suggested for resurfacing. 14,000 lineal feet of curb and gutter
and 25,000 square feet of sidewalk are proposed for replacement. The 1993 program is about
10% less than the 1992 program in resurfaced area, about 29% more in concrete curb and
sidewalk repair, and 7% less in total estimated cost.
The committee questioned staff about Elk Grove Blvd. , Lively between Devon and Arthur,
Wildwood near Crest, Nerge Road Extendsion, Pratt just west of Busse, Dierking Terrace, and
the Railroad on Devon just west of Lively.
The committee received the proposed program and recommended Village Board actions as follows:
Approval of the 1993 Street Maintenance Program as proposed in Mr. Cech's memo
of 12/17/92.
Appropriation of $673,458 of Motor Fuel Tax Funds for the program.
Appropriation of $271,400 of 93/94 General Corporate Funds for the program.
Authorization for staff to advertise and accept bids for the work included in the
program.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
