Lissner, Village Trustee MEMBERS ABSENT: None STAFF PRESENT: G. Parrin, Village Manager J. MacArthur, Fire Chief T. Cech, Director of Public Works OTHERS: None UTILIZATION OF VILLAGE OWNED PROPERTY Discussion referenced the Village Manager's memo of 4/28/95 regarding Village owned property. The Committee took a field tour of the 5 acre Dierking Terrace property, 1-1/2 acre Oakton Street property, the former well site at the Chicago Magnet Wire property, and the rear yard of the Public Works Facility at 666 Landmeier Road. The Committee recommends the following plan of action: An appraisal be obtained for the Dierking Terrace parcel for potential sale of the parcel. Purchase an additional 1-1/2 acres of land from Mr.Busse to increase the Oakton Street parcel to approximately 3 acres. Locate the Fire Training facility and the Public Works Salt Storage facility at this :location. Retain the 2 acre Rohlwing Road parcel. - Sell our well site and easement rights on the Chicago Magnet Wire property. Pursue the installation of a sound proofing fence adjacent to the Redwood properties. Committee further suggested that: - No decision be made on the Ni Gas request for use of part of the Oakton Street parcel until we know if we can obtain more property from Mr.Busse. Leave the Material storage bins at 666 Landmeier Public Works Facility.
