Subject: Steiner Electric-Touhy Crossing
Discussion ensued regarding the proposals submitted by representatives of Steiner Electric
to install flashing signs, a stop sign,pedestrian markings on the street or pedestrian
signage; or a combination of the foregoing to enhance the safety of their employees
crossing Touhy Avenue between their plants. It was the consensus of the Committee to
have the Police Department monitor vehicular speed several days in the month of August
and report back to them
