1997 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
Following review and discussion of the proposed program contained in the Director's
12/20/96 memo to Village Manager Gary Parrin, the Committee unanimously approved
the program as submitted with the addition.of Ridge Avenue from Elk Grove Boulevard
to Devon Avenue.
It was noted that$2.8 million was projected as available for this program in the MFT
fund.
The Committee recommended Village Board action as follows:
• Approval of the 1997 Street Maintenance Program as submitted on December 20,
1996 with the addition of Ridge Avenue from Elk Grove Boulevard to Devon Avenue
in the amount of$1,037,405.
• Adoption of a"Resolution for Maintenance of Streets and Highways by Municipality
Under the Illinois Highway Code" appropriating the sum of$983,455 of Motor Fuel
Tax funds for this program.
• Authorization for staff to advertise and accept bids on work included in this program.
