Committee reviewed program recommended by the staff in a memo dated
January 6, 1998.
Program includes the extensive rehabilitation of Northwest Point Boulevard and
resurfacing of 10.12 miles of Village streets (154,445 square yards of pavement)
including Tonne Road and the Landmeier Public Works Facility parking lot.
Committee recommends:
adding Clearmont from Fridge to Cypress to the 1998 Resurfacing
Program;
=> retaining the northbound and southbound Tonne Road pavements but
deleting the crossovers due to anticipated improvements to Tonne Road
as part of the Industrial Revitalization Plan;
=> Public Works Department to patch and resurface the short section of
Placid Way from Cypress to the west end.
It was the unanimous recommendation of the Committee to:
=> approve the 1998 Street Maintenance Program as contained in the staffs
January 6, 1998, memo with the addition of Clearmont, from Ridge to
Cypress, and the deletion of the Tonne Road crossovers;
z* adopt a resolution appropriating $1,118,960 from the Motor Fuel Tax
Fund to finance the program;
authorize the staff to advertise and accept bids, as soon as possible, for
work included in the approved 1998 Street Resurfacing Program.

Committee reviewed program recommended by the staff in a memo dated
January 6, 1998.
Program includes the extensive rehabilitation of Northwest Point Boulevard and
resurfacing of ten (10) miles of Village streets (151,000 square yards of
pavement) including Tonne Road and the Landmeier Public Works Facility
parking lot.
Committee recommends:
adding Clearmont from Ridge to Cypress to the 1998 Resurfacing
Program;
=> retaining the northbound and southbound Tonne Road pavements but
deleting the crossovers due to anticipated improvements to Tonne Road
