The meeting began with a tour of the industrial park.
Following are comments made during tour:
SIGNS
Identification signs at entrances and exits of Indus. Park
Street signs should be bigger, easier to read, perhaps with
logo - white signs with green letters suggested

Wider turns at intersections
Stoplight at Nicholas and Landmeier
Four lanes on Lively
LANDSCAPING
Some placement of rocks in parkways better than others
Lack of .trees on Landmeier
`Islands" with flowers suggested for Biesterfield corridor

Many areas along curbs should be cleaned of debris, crumbled

Higher curbs would discourage trucks driving over them
MISC.
Loading docks and aprons wider to accommodate trucks
Center curbs not necessary in driveways
Paint utility poles
Concrete on either side of railroad tracks
Future plans for Busse Farm property
Future plans for Northwest Point
Banners in industrial park
More street lights

crushing facility, compost pile, etc.
EXAMPLES OF EXCELLENT RENOV21TION
Nicholas Boulevard
2375 Estes
After the tour the meeting continued with further discussion
of above items. It was the consensus of the group that the
major areas to address are:
streets
driveways
curbs
railroad crossings
building upkeep
sidewalks
landscaping
street and identification signs
street lights
docks
ceiling heights
adjust zoning issues
Ron Behm pointed out that one of the reasons Elk Grove

is "affordable" and it is his opinion that we should keep
that in mind during this process.
