Recuest for Oualification Evaluations and Interview Process
Commission reviewed the tabulation of Request for Qualification
Evaluations and the individual, comments made by Commissioners.
After discussing the submittals, it was the consensus of the
Commission to interview all five firms since the "scores" were
all very close.
After a lengthy discussion, the following interview procedure was
agreed upon:
Thursday, November 7:
Representatives of all five firms to be invited to an open forum
in which the Commission will make a presentation explaining the
revitalization program, and the company representatives can ask
questions. They will be given a RFP at this time, which will be
returned in January.
Tuesday, January 7 and Wednesday, January 8:
Firms will make proposals to Commission
After these meetings, Commission will "narrow down" the field and
references will be checked.
The next meeting will be Thursday, October 3 at which time the
Commissioners will review a "draft" RFP and "draft" presentation
prepared by staff, and make final arrangements for November 7
presentation.
