*Note - Proposals were received from five firms on December 4 and
hand delivered to all Commissioners on the morning of December 5.
The meeting scheduled for the evening of December 5 was canceled
because of the short amount of time available for Commissioners
to review the proposals. The meeting was rescheduled for
December 19.
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 a.m.
Proposals were received from The Lakota Group; Trkla, Pettigrew,
Allen & Payne; Camiros; Planning Resources, Inc. ; and Thompson
Dyke & Associates. Having two weeks to review and evaluate
these proposals, the Commissioners discussed their evaluations.
It was the consensus of the Commission to interview Camiros and
Thompson Dyke and Associates. After those interviews, the
Commission will decide whether or not to interview Planning
Resources.
All five companies will be notified by phone, followed by letter,
informing them of their status .
Since there will only be two interviews, the meeting scheduled
for Tuesday, January 7 can be canceled. The Commission will meet
at 6 p.m. on January 8 - the first interview will be at 6:30 p.m.
and the second will be at 8 p.m. We will allow 45 minutes for
each presentation followed by a 15-minutes question and answer
period.
