Ayers J. McAllister C. Henrici P. Feichter ABSENT: J. Meyers D. Paliganoff STAFF: R. Farrell , Administrative Assistant A. Boffice, Director of Engineering/Community Develop. PETITIONERS: T. Maioriello, Grove Memorial Chapel B. Beaupre, Mr. Bo's Chairman Glass called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. Item A: Grove Memorial Chapel Screening Maioriello stated that he wished to replace his existing five(5) foot high stockade fence with it four(4) foot board on board fence. Maioriello explained that the existing stockade fence had deteriorated and needs replacement. Commissioner Ayers questioned if Maioriello discussed the change with the neighboring property owners. Maioriello stated he did not discuss the screening change. Commissioner Feichter expressed concern over children climbing the fence if it were only four(4 ) feet in height. Chairman Glass added that a five(5) foot would provide additional screening for neighboring' properties. Commissioner Henrici stated that he felt a four(4) foot fence is adequate for this purpose. Commissioner Feichter motioned to approve that the screening remain as a five(5) foot fence in the existing location on the property. Commissioner McAllister seconced the motion. The motion carried 4 to 1 (Henrici NAY, Meyers , Paliganoff ABSENT) . Plan Commission ..inutes April 6, 1994 page 2 Item B: Petersen Aluminum Screening Plan Chairman Glass noted that he has a conflict of interest on this item and will not vote on the screening plan if necessary. It was noted that the screening plan is for their new building on Tonne Road. In addition, it was noted that the screening plan covers the requirements of screening industrial uses from the residential property across the street on Tonne as well as required screening for parking lots adjacent to residential areas. Commissioner Ayers moved to approve the Petersen Aluminum screening plan. Commissioner Geinosky seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Adjournment: Commissioner Feichter moved and Commissioner Ayers seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting. Chairman Glass adjourned the meeting at 8:25 p.m Respectfully submitted, nee M.
