1 President Watson called the meeting to order at 7 : 15 p .m.
Roll call Vice-President Canary and Assistant Secretary
Farley present . Secretary Losch and Treasurer Coney absent .
Minutes of the special meeting on August 12 , 1975 had been
distributed to all the members , and were approved as corrected.
Farley was authorized to set up a meeting with Doctor Medved
and Doctor Solomen for the purpose of discussing the Police
Candidate Medical Exam.
Finance reported there is $29 , 000 to invest . President Watson
stated there was a block of U.S . treasury bonds available
at $25 , 000 and 8;% interest and due May 15 , 2005. The motion
was made by Canary and recorded by Farley to invest available
( funds in this block of bonds .
'l Farley was to make arrangements with Dean Grant of Alexian
Brothers Medical Center to talk to Doctors Medved and Solomen.
Watson is to prepare the medical form for the exam.
The meeting adjourned at 7 : 30 on a motion by Farley and
second by Canary.
