Minutes of Special Board Meeting, Tuesday, June 9,
1977. Meeting held in the Staff Conference Room,
Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk
Grove Village , Illinois ,

Vice President Robert Canary called the meeting to order at
7 :05 P.M.
Roll call of officers : Vice President Canary, Secretary
Eugene Brandt and Assistant Secretary Dave Farley. Treasurer
George Coney was absent, Richard Losch was also in attendance .
Minutes of previous meeting held on Tuesday, April 12, 1977
were read by Secretary Brandt and a motion to approve as
written was made by Secretary Brandt, 2nd by Assistant
Secretary Farley. Minutes accepted.
Secretary Brandt reported that an election to the office of
Trustee was held on Wednesday, April 20, 1977 by the active
members and that Canary and Brandt were elected to Trustee
for the period May 10, 1977 to May 8, 1979.
Vice President Canary reported that a special ceremony was
held at a regular Village Board meeting, honoring Richard
Losch for his many years of service on the Pension Fund.
He was presented an attractive plaque .
Tho election of officers was tablad until appointment of a
fifth member by Village President Zattek.
Grant Watson tendered his resignation from the board as of
7 June 1977. He has served honorably on the Board since 1961,
the inception of the Pension Fund. He will be missed by all.
$6,000.00 was credited to the Pension Fund from Bell Savings
and Loan Association to Continental Illinois National Bank
and Trust Co.
Casey Klingberg applied for entrance into the Pension Fund
on April 18, 1977. Motion by Assistant Secretary Farley,
2nd by Secretary Brandt to accept him into the Pension Fund,
Motion carried.
Due to the absence of Treasurer Coney, the Troasurerfs report
will be given at the next regular meeting, to be held on
Tuesday, July 12, 1977 .
Being no further business to discuss, the meeting was
adjourned by Vice President Canary at 7 :30 P.M.
