Minutes of Regular Quarterly Board. Meeting,
Tuesday, July 19, 1977. Meeting Hold in
The Staff Conference Room, Municipal Building,
901 Wellington Avenue., Elk Grove Village ,
Illinois.

Vice President Canary called the meeting to order at 7 :02 P .M.
Roll call of officers : Vice President Canary, Secretary Brandt,
Assistant Secretary Parley and Treasurer Coney.
Minutes of the previous meeting held on Tuesday, June 9, 1977
which were previously distributed, !,icre read and the minutes
were approved as written.
Secretary Brandt reported that David Giles was dismissed as a
probationary patrolman on 27 June 1977 and Richard Rusch had
resigned on 5 July 1977. Refund checks of their contributions
to the Band have beer_ given them.
Treasurer Coney reported that he was a*,-iting the May computer
print outs for funds for deposit. He also advised that he had
submitted the annual report to the Department of Insurance ,
State of Illinois on July 19, 1977.
Secretary Brandt reported that new bank signature cards will
have to be made out since the appoitment by Village President
Zettek of Eugene P. Diemer, to the fifth position on the Board
whose vacancy came about by the resignation. of Grant '+7atson.
Eugene P. Diemer was introduced to the members of the Board
and Treasurer Coney expounded on the seriousness of the duties
of office for all Board members .
Vice President Canary called for election of Board officers
and the following slate was propsed;
President - Eugene P. Diener
Vice President - Robert Canary
Secretary - Eugene Brandt
Assistant Secretary - David Parley
Brandt moved to elect the above slate, Parley seconded, motion
carried.
Vice President Canary then turned the chairmanship of the
meeting over to President Diemer, who filled the Board in on
his credentials in the financial field and that he would do
his utmost to full fill his duties .

President Dismer advised subject of investments by Board to
be tabled until the next regular quarterly meeting, to be held
on Tuesday, October 11, 1977, for research purposes .
Being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned
at 7 :35 P.M.
