Minutes of the Elk Grove Village Police Pension Board

The meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by President Ambrose. Present were
Garr, Lancaster, Vrchota, Greenberg, and Hilda Ingebrigtsen.
The minutes of the last meeting, October 13, 1998, were read. Motion made by Lancaster,
seconded by Vrchota, to accept the minutes. Motion carried.
The Board reviewed the proposals that were received from the financial advisors that
were interested in conducting business with the Board. The Board recommends further
interviews be conducted with Prudential, Salomon Smith Barney, and possibly Provident
Mutual. The Board will coordinate with the Elk Grove-'Village Fire Pension Board
for these further interviews.
The Board received a letter of resignation from Ofc. Chris Chausse, effective
October 23, 1998, and requesting a refund of his contributions. Motion made by
Greenberg, seconded by Ambrose, to pay Chausse this refund once the figures are
determined by the Finance Dept. Motion carried.
Ambrose announced the next Board meeting will be January 12, 1999, at 6:30 p.m. at 901
Wellington, Elk Grove Village, IL
Motion made by Lancaster, seconded by Vrchota, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
