MYLES GREENBERG, ' SECRETARY 117 The meeting was called to order at 6:45 p.m. by President Ambrose. Present were Lancaster, Greenberg, and Roeske. Absent was Garr. ' The minutes of the last meeting, April 11, 2000 were read. Motion made by Lancaster, seconded by Greenberg, to accept the minutes. Motion carried. Old Business The Trustee election for the active members of the Board was not necessary due to only two members, Greenberg and Roeske, interested in the two available positions. Greenberg and Roeske were appointed by acclamation of President Ambrose. The Trustee election for the beneficiary member of the Board was not necessary due to only one member, Lancaster, intersted in the one available position. Lancaste was appointed by acclamation of President Ambrose. New Business The election of officers to the Board occurred. Motion made by Lancaster, seconded by Roeske, for the officers to the Board to be as follows: Ambrose as President, Lancaster as Vice President, Greenberg as Secretary, Roeske as Assistant Secretary, and Garr as Trustee. Motion carried. The Board received a request for a refund of contributions from Sgt Jeff Hawkins. The Finance Dept provided the distribution information as follows: Date hired: October 15, 1990 Date resigned: February 05, 1999 Refund amount: $29,673.59 Date refund paid: February 29, 2000 Motion made by Roeske, seconded by Lancaster, to approve this payment. Motion carried. Ambrose informed the Board he is looking into other investment options for existing separate accounts to newer products. He will contact Mary Tomanek of Salomon Smith Barney about this, and report to the Board at a future meeting. Ambrose announced the next meeting will be July 11, 2000, 3:30 p.m. at 901 Wellington, Elk Grove Vlg, IL. Motion to adjourn the meeting by Greenberg, seconded by Lancaster. Motion carried.
