'.'eating called to order by President Watson at 9:0571. Also present
`'ice-Pres Buchholz, Secretary Losoh and Trustee Canary. Absent
Treasurer Eppley.
Buohholzzindicated that his commission card has expired 30 April 1969,
and Losch and Canary indicated that they have not as yet received their
new comrission cards. Watson indicated that his appoint-ment is until
30 April 1970. Secretary Losch stated he would advised ?tillage Clerk
of these matters (letter of 19 May 1969 attached). Losch also reported
on results of election for Trustee (2) by active members on 21 April
1969 was as follows:
Robert Canary 12 (elected) Rufus Springate 10
Richard Losch 24 (elected) Harry ';^ralsh, Jr 3
Secretary further reported that refunds were returned to the following
officers: "Isynard (resigned 28 F:..ar 69) 4 2,120.23 and F,dward Clifford,
former Chief of Police and Lieutbnant at his request received 1 :..ay 69
amounting to 4 1,556.68 (check dated 7 P..ay 69). Clifford was suspended
12 December 1963 and following hearing that lasted into 1964, discharged.
There followed discussion on Trial Balance Sheet received from Pppley (not
present) showing taxes receivable 1967 levy of 8 32,832.06. Secretary
Losch was requested to check with Lir Eppley regarding this entry. Trustees
also discussed a notation regarding 1968 tax levy of $ 92,430.00 as it
was understood that this levy had been pared to A 46,000.00 (esti:cated)
by Board of Trustees. Secretary Losch was also requested to check out
this item (see attached note).
There followed discussion on requested tax levy for 1969 to be presented
to the F,lk Grove Village Budget Committee and President ",atson indicated
that he would prepare the message based on past experience and future
/ needs - preliminary estimate than this would be ir the area of $ 110,000.00.
primarily due to the abbitrary out by the Village Board of Trustees last
year in August of 1968.
Being no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned by consent
of those present.

resignation as Vine President of the Board of Trustees
of the Polio! Pension Strad, Village of Elk Grove Vil-
lage.
My withdrawal is occasioned by our expected
move out of the Villager to Arlington Heights, Illinois,
on or about May 1, 1970„
I will be hgppy to continue in my present
capacity, until a replacement is appointed, and will
await your word as to the effective data which will
best conform to your needs.
I have oujoyed; my tenure on the Board and will
also tha assoetatisn with the other members of the team.

Dear Fay,
Tould you please remind "xs Turner (Ise) as well as "'r Pahl that the
£ollovrin? Trustees of the Police Pension Board require proper certi-
fication for their respective terms of office.
David Buchholzts appointment expited 30 April 1969 and either should be
reappointed to expire 30 April 1.971 or someone else appointed. I assume
that he will be reappointed.
Robert Canary and Richard Losoh were elected Trustees, term to expire
30 April 1971. ?lection was held 21 April 1969, participating members
casting ballots to elect the above 2 Trustees.
Grant Watson's appointment expires 30 April 1970, so there is no nead
for action on this matter.
