Minutes of Special Meeting, Tuesday August 12,

Preaid^nt Watson callad th,� meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
Roll call. Vice President Canary, Secretary Losch and Assistant
Scorstary Farley present. Treasurer Cone, absent - excusad.
Minutes of the last mee'tinq, Tuesday, July 8, 1975 had been distri-
buted to all members and the reading of these minutes were dispensed
with by acclamation. Farley indicated that the minutes failed to
indicate his presence, so Canary moved to correct and -incluc'.e
"Assistant-Secretary Farley", as attending the meeting on Jul-,7 8,
1975, motion seconded by Farley, motion carried.
Watson then reported thae he had contacted the Continental Illinois
National Bank regarding medical physical report required and presented
i the form. Canary reported that he contacted the Civil Service Com-
g mission in Chicago but received little help, and was referred to the
9 Chicago Police Department.
Losch reported that he had contacted the Illinois State Police Merit
Board and they mailed back a medical form. Losch also met with
Sgt. Matt Durso of Chicago Police Department who explained the
whole medical physical process and in fact attended the Recruit
Medical Physical conducted in Chicago on July 11, 1975 at
1472 S. Wabash. A medical form was also presented.
Farley contacted the Alexian Brothers Medical Center (ABMC) and
related that Doctors Solomen and Medved were setting up a clinic
at the Medical Offices Wing and that it was expected to be in
operation shortly. Other clinics in the area were mentioned.

watson volunteered to consolidate the medical fo-ans and to set up
a mu ting with Doctors So.tomen and Medved for the purr%ose of
discussing the Policc Mec.lical Er;am and establishing a fee for the
procedure.
The Annual Report was distributed to all trustees and signed by
President Watson and Secretary Losch - to be returned to Treasurer
Con,.v for signature and mailing to the State Department of Insurance.
New batch of Elk Grove Safe Deposit Box (7245) forms were distributed
to all trustees for signature. Losch presented a bill for 65 cents
for an extra key for the Pension File Cabinet. Farley moved to
authorize payment of the bill, seconded by Canary, motion carried.
t Being no further business to discuss, Farley moved to adjourn,
seconded by Losch, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7 :55 p.m.
