Youth Commission Minutes
April 11, 1998

The meeting was called to order at 10:40 a.m. by Commissioner Prochno. The main
subject of this meeting was to discuss the details for the Teen Dance which is going to be
scheduled for Friday, May 15, 1998 at the Teen Center from 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Commissioner Prochno is making a request to obtain a cash advance in the amount of
$600.00 to cover the costs for this function. The breakdown of expenses is as follows:
Cost for DJ at the Teen Center $ 225.00
($75.00 per hour+ tip)
Concession Stand Items:
Pizza Slices - Pet's A - Pie $ 100.00
(Cheese& Sausage)
Canned Pop $ 75.00
Napkins/Paper Plates $ 25.00
Warheads, Ring Pops, Snickers
Super Ropes, Skittles $ 75.00
Village Sign $ 9.00
$ 509.00
Fluorescent flyers will be used to advertise the function and the dance information will be
printed on half sheets. No decorations will used. The kids will also advertise the function
by word-of-mouth at school. Non-unifonmed police will be in attendance at the dance.
The cash advance of$600.00 will be reimbursed to the Village from the proceeds of the
concession sales.
