Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on July 20,2004 , this Executive Session was
called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
Staff has looked into the feasibility of adding a third full-time staff member to Channel 6. If
another full-time position was added, Channel 6 would likely expand their programming to
include high school sports.
After determining that the Village would still have enough reserves for future Channel 6 capital
contributions, it was determined that another full-time staff member could be added. The
Village Manager concurred with staff's recommendation, and indicated that if financial
constraints arose the part-time Production Assistant position could be eliminated.
In order to make this change official, an ordinance will need to be prepared for the next Village
Board meeting. Furthermore, it was the consensus of the Board to notify Darien Pasika of the
change so that he does not take a job with another organization.
