The Attorney, Joel Brosk, representing the petitioner, Marathon Tool and
Machine Works, Inc. , introduced the owners, Jerry Kozlowski and Tadeusz
Kozlowski. He stated that the premises are used for the manufacturing of
High Tech products for industry and especially for aerospace companies and
uses. The property was purchased January 1989, it was vacant for approximately
2 years prior. They now have 10 employees and expect to hire 5 more. They
feel with their existing paved area plus an additional 10 feet of paving they
could accommodate their cars. Discussion continued on the property and abuting
properties both within and without the village. Their rear property line is
the Village boundary. Discussion was held regarding parking the front of
buildings in the area including 2121 Landmeier which is still before the
Zoning Board of Appeals.
When the petitioner was asked for a parking layout showing spaces and
ingress and egress for the existing and what they proposed to do, they did not
have either. The Board told them they could not even consider a request until
they received specifics. They were given 30 days to have someone prepare the
layout and submit it to the Board.
