September 13, 1993

Chairman Inzerello called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. and read
the legal notice aloud.
Residential Zoning Variation - Docket 93-7, 1554 Patricia Court
Lee Garr, attorney for the petitioners explained that the Hilgenberg' s
obtained a building permit for an above ground pool and the
installation crew assured Mrs. Hilgenberg that they were aware of
Village Codes. They proceeded to install the pool too close to the
side lot line within the ten(IO) foot side easement.
Mr. Guzzardi asked if the contractor was notified of the problem. Mrs.
Hilgenberg explained that they were notified and told her that they
could not come back to relocate the pool this year. Mr. Hilgenberg
added that the pool could not be moved away from the side lot line
because of the locations of underground utilities.
Mr. Keegan and Mr. Inzerello inquired further about why the pool was
incorrectly located. Mr. Hilgenberg explained that the Village
inspected the location along with Commonwealth Edison.
Mr. Trudan explained that those inspections were made as a result of
the request to occupy a portion of the easement.
Mr. Staddler expressed concern over the location of the pool being too
close to the fence resulting in the possibility of children climbing
the fence to use the pool . Mr. Hilgenberg explained that the fence was
a six foot privacy fence.

A motion was made by Mr. Guzzardi to grant the variation and seconded
by Mr. Keegan. The motion passed by unanimous vote. The meeting was
adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
