Keegan, T. Staddler ABSENT: R. Phillips STAFF: S. Trudan, Plan Reviewer Chairman Inzerello called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. and summarized the legal notice for• the hearing. Residential Zoning Variation - Docket 93-9, 916 David Lane. Mr. Connor explained that his reason for seeking the variation to allow a fireplace chase that encroached on the required side yard was simply due to the fact that the proposed lncation was. the only feasible choice. Any other location in the family room would result in the obstruction of doors, windows or an escape window from the basement. Mr. Staddler clarified the dimensions of the proposed encroachment. fir. Carev & Mr. Guzzardi asked for further information regarding the layout of the floor plan and inquired about possible alternate locations for the fireplace. Mr. Connor explained that no options were feasible. Chairman Inzerello asked staff for any comments. h'r. Trudan explained that the homes in the subdivision were usually built to the maximum width permitted by zoning and therefore the after market fireplaces often could riot be built without the granting of a variation. Chairman Inzerello asked for a. motion. A, motion was made to grant the variation and seconded by Mr. Keegan. The motion was passed by unanimous vote.
