Phillips ABSENT: R. Guzzardi T. Staddler STAFF: R. Ray, Plan Reviewer NEIGHBORS: Mr. & Mrs. Larry Dohrer Chairman Inzerello called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m. and summarized the legal notice for the hearing (the reason for the delay was the late arrival of the petitioners. ) . Residential zoning variation - Docket 94-3, 85 Shelley Court. Mr. Bisceglie first apologized for his late arriVAT—(mix up in times) then explained that his reason for seeking the variation for building a principle structure (attached garage) within the 20 foot required rear lot, was that his family has grown in such a way that they are running out of room for storing and parking their vehicles. Mr. Bisceglie also stated that he's been a life long resident of Elk Grove and would never do anything nor ask to do anything that would hurt or harm in anyway the Village and/or his neighbors. The Board then asked Mr. Bisceglie a few questions regarding the removal of a shed possible drainage problems, enough clearance along side yard, proper lighting and ventilation in one rear bedroom, and if the old garage would still be used. Mr. Bisceglie, addressed every item favorably which resulted in no further questions. Chairman Inzerello asked for any comments from the staff. Mr. Ray stated in the absence of any concerns relating to health, safety and welfare, the Building Department had no recommendations regarding the request. Before Chairman Inzerello asked for a motion he asked if anvone else had any further comments. Mr. Larry Dohrer a neighbor of Mr. Bisceglie stood up and stated that the Risceglie's were very good people and would hope that the Board would grant them a variance. Zoning Board of ,ppeals March 30, 2994 page 2 Chairman Inzerello then asked for a motion. A motion was made to grant the variation and seconded by Mr. Carey.
