Chairman Inzerello called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and
summarized the Legal Notice for the Hearing.
Residential Zoning variation - Docket 94-4 - 1823 Maryland
Mr. Scumacci explained that he had three reasons for seeking a
variation to build a screened in porch within the required rear yard.
1. His house backs up to wise Road and anybody walking along
the berm in back could look directly onto his current deck.
2. His wife had open heart surgery recently and she needs the
fresh air without the sun and bugs.
3 . with the variation, the screened in porch would have uni-
form dimensions for easy construction.
The Board wanted to know again what Mr. Scumacci 's hardship was. As he
stated earlier Mr. Scumacci said it was for privacy, health and
convenience. The Board had no further comments.
Chairman Inzerello asked staff for any comments, which there were none.
Chairman Inzerello asked for a motion. A motion was made to grant the
variation and seconded by Mr. Keegan. The motion was passed by
unanimous vote. The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
