Phillips T. Staddler ABSENT: B. Carey R. Guzzardi STAFF: R. Ray, Plan Reviewer Chairman Inzerello called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and summarized the Legal Notice for the Hearing. Residential Zoning Variation - Docket 94-5 - 912 Christa Court Ms. Keenan explained that her reason (s) for seeking the variation to build a deck and spa within the required rear yard were three fold. 1. She has a bad back and the spa they bought for her was to big to put into the house properly. The back yard was the only choice. 2. When they bought their house they did not realize just how small the back yard was. They were also unaware of restrict- ions in the village Zoning Ordinances. 3. Their rear yard retains a lot of water and a concrete patio would not hold up as well over the long haul. The Boards ' only real concerns were its exact size and location. Ms. Keenan clarified these items both verbally and written, with no further questions from the Board. Chairman Inzerello asked staff for any comments. Mr. Ray stated that the absence of concerns relating to health, safety and welfare, there were no recommendations regarding the request. But Mr. Ray did add that if the variation was granted Ms. Keenan would have to put up some type of fencing around either the spa or house to ensure proper safety per Village Code. Zoning Board c 1ppeals Minutes June 7, 1994 page 2 Chairman Inzerello asked for a motion. A motion was made to grant the variation and seconded by Mr. Staddler.
