Meeting Minutes
January 11, 1995

Chairman Inzerello called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and
summarized the legal notice for the hearing.
Residential Zoning variation - Docket 95-2, 955 Arkansas
The Petitioner, Mrs. Minch explained that her reasons for seeking a
variation to allow a shed to encroach into the required side yard was
two fold. First, having several children, they had ran out of storage
room in their home so they needed to put up a shed for storage.
Second, their back yard is very small and coupled with 3 large trees in
the back, it is almost impossible to put the shed anywhere else.
The Zoning Board of Appeals asked if Mrs. Minch was sure that the
proposed shed location was in fact the only place she could put it?
She responded that unless she cut trees down or built the shed up
against the house, the proposed location was the only place it could be
put.
Chairman Inzerello asked for any comments from the staff.
Mr. Ray stated that Mrs. Minch followed every procedure she could. She
received waivers from all the utilities and the Village stating that
that area was clear, and also had letters from her neighbors saying
they had no problems with her putting up the shed in that particular
area. Mr. Ray added that under those circumstances the Community
Development Department had no problems with her variation.
Chairman Inzerello asked for a motion. A motion was made by J. Oliveto
and second by C. Prochno to grant the variation, the motion was passed
4-1. The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
