Zoning Variation — Docket#04-7— 220 Placid Way
Chairman Kaplan called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M.
The hearing is a continuation of Docket #04-7 hearing that took place on July 15,
2004.
Mr. Kaplan said that he met Mr. Byrne of 202 Harmony Lane. He also said that
he looked at the site and noticed the wood stakes with the tape at the top
outlining the proposed fence.
Mr. Franke asked the petitioner and Mr. Byrne if anything has changed from the
last meeting when the proposed fence location was discussed and the petitioner
was asked to place stakes showing the intended location of the new fence.
Mr. Byrne and the petitioner stated that they did not change anything. The
petitioner just brought in more detailed drawings and put the stakes on the field.
Mr. Shumm noticed that the proposed fence would leave a wide sight view for the
neighbor.
Mr. Oliveto said that he does not have any objections as long as the neighbor
has no objections.
Mr. Rodgers asked where is a gate going to be.
The petitioner answered that the gate is going to be on 13-foot fence section
facing Harmony Lane.
Mr. Byrne asked how wide the gate would be.
The petitioner said that the gate would be 3 foot wide approximately.
A motion was made by Ms. Kreutzer to grant the variation and seconded
by Mr. Walz. The motion was passed unanimously.
The petitioner was directed by Mr. Kaplan to contact the Village Clerk to
confirm which Village Board meeting they should attend for final approval.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 P.M.
