Meeting Minutes
September 18, 1997

SUNNY LIQUORS - 1049 ROHLWING ROAD
The Commission reviewed the investigative report from the
Elk Grove Police Department and agreed unanimously to
recommend an increase in the number of Class "B" Liquor
Licenses to accommodate the additional license for Sunny
Liquors . An ordinance amending the Village Code will be
presented at the next meeting of the Village Board.

It was noted that an application that was received for a
restaurant and sports bar was forwarded to the Police
Department for investigation.
ELK GROVE PARK DISTRICT - VARIOUS LOCATIONS
The commissioners reviewed various recommendations for
dealing with the requests from the Park District for a
liquor license to be used at. Pirates Cove, Rainbow Falls
and/or the Historical Society. Unanimous decision to
recommend having a new liquor license created for Park
District use at their facilities other than the Pavilion.
Discussion followed as to the various criteria to be
followed in the issuing of such a license and the
enforcement of same. Bassett requirements and license fees
were also discussed.
The Village Attorney will prepare an ordinance for review by
the commissioners before submitting to the Village Board for
consideration.
BUSTER' S 2801 Touhv
The Commissioners discussed a request from Busters Billiards
for an extended hours license . They currently have a Class
"D" license which allows for the sale of beer and wine only
for consumption on premise . There is no license for
extended hours for a Class "D" license .
Mr. Bieze, owner of Buster' s was informed of this by the
Village Clerk and was told that the only extended hour
license is a Class AA which is only considered for granting
to a business holding a Class "A" License which is a full
liquor license for consumption on premise .
It was the consensus of the Commissioners to have an
additional late closing liquor license created to
accommodate those establishments serving beer and wine only.
The Village Attorney will prepare an ordinance creating a
Class "DD" Liquor License for review by the Liquor
Commission before presenting to the Village Board for
consideration.
The meeting adjourned at 7 : 05 p.m.
