Mr. Knickerbocker, Village Attorney, stated for the record that
on October 26, 1999 at the Liquor Commission hearing, the Liquor
Commissioner revoked the license of Sunny Liquors of 1197
Rohlwing Road. The Liquor Commissioner then entertained a motion
on behalf of the licensee to have that order up for
reconsideration.

transcript which is attached hereto and made a part thereof.
Mr. Slaw addressed the Commission and for clarification purposes
stated that he is to understand that Mina Patel will be present
at Sunny Liquors store approximately half of the time. Mahesh
Patel will also be there. Mina is going to have a hands-on with
the day to day running of the liquor store. If any individual
does come in to help as a co-manager he/she will register that
name with the Village for the appropriate background checks.
Mr. Knickerbocker stated it would be best, if the Commission does
intend to reinstate the license, that a written agreement be made
between all parties concerned so there' s no misunderstanding.
An oral motion was made by Mr. Slaw for a reinstatement of one
form or another of the liquor license so Sunny Liquors can reopen
on November 17, 1999 at 10 :00 a.m.
The Liquor Commissioner announced the ruling made this evening
will be to issue the liquor license to Sunny Liquors. The store
may open tomorrow (November 17, 1999) at 10 :00 a.m. as a
probationary reinstatement until June 1, 2000 . The attorneys are
given seven days (Wednesday by noon) to put together the written
agreement for President Johnson' s review.
