Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on February 8.2005 ,this Executive Session
was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
It was noted that Jesse Jackson met with Governor Blagojevich to discuss a possibleent or
sale of land for the proposed Abraham Lincoln National Airport.
Questions were raised as to whether or not Elk Grove and Bensenville should be part f the
SSA Commission. LCOR and SNC Lavin have told the State that they will not build the
airport if our communities are not included in the Commission.
In addition, it was noted that Mayor Daley is no longer requesting that Elk Grove and
Bensenville leave the Commission. Also noted was that Crete will be joining the Co 'ssion
and Will County Executive Walsh will accept an appointment to the SSA Board.
Furthermore,Metra has indicated that they want to construct two rail lines to the new airport.
