Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on October 11,2005 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Litigation matter.

LITIGATION
Mayor Johnson noted that Reporter Pat Cochran,has filed a Freedom of Information
request seeking information about the usage of funds for the Becket Foundation. It was
stated that the$90,000 in funds for the Becket Foundation,was for consulting services for
I"Amendment rights engaged by Special Counsel Joe Karaganis for litigation purposes.
