Item A:
Special use permit allowing the installation of outdoor warning
sirens at 200 Biesterfield Road (Well #3) and 1630 Gibson Drive.
Chief MacArthur stated that Commonwealth Edison and Fulton
Contracting located proper electrical wiring and access to electrical
conduits for the installation of the warning siren on the municipal
complex property.
The Chief also stated that the site exists as a governmental
purpose with structures in excess of 50 feet; therefore, another public
hearing is not necessary.
The Plan Commission then reviewed the Finding of Fact regarding
the placement of the outdoor warning sirens. Commissioner Mullen
requested to amend the Finding of Fact to state that the location of
the siren be on the municipal complex property, not specifically the
parking lot of the property.
Commissioner Mullen motioned to approve the Finding of Fact with
the one amendment. Commissioner Geinosky seconded the motion. The
motion carried unanimously .
